Rutabaga

rutabaga

I have never eaten a rutabaga. It seems clear from this picture that it’s just a turnip nobody bothered to clean. I’m not sure when I exactly I realized that “rutabaga” was a real thing instead of a nonsense sound like “goo goo” or “ga ga” but it was definitely not during my childhood. Real talk here: “rutabaga” sounds like an old-timey car horn and you all know it. 2.0/5
