Free Will

free will

Here’s how you know there’s no such thing as free will: does a thought come when you want, or when it wants. If you can’t control your input, and you can’t control your output, then you aren’t in control. What I do is just lean back, try to enjoy the ride, and hope whoever’s pulling the strings remembers I like kettle chips. 1.4/5

  1. Your words came as a result of your desire to say something important and meaningful about free will and determinism. There’s no mystical source of your thoughts, they serve you, your purpose, and for your reasons. And if you find yourself about to drive off the cliff, I hope you do decide to take back control of your car. After all, causal inevitability doesn’t give a damn about your choices, but you do.
